A safe museum visit
Safer space principles
Vantaa City Museum is a discrimination-free zone. Our museum does not tolerate any discrimination, humiliation, derision, or bullying. We respect one another's mental and physical states.
We do not make assumptions based on, for example, sex, background, ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation, functional capacity, or wealth.
Please adhere to these principles when visiting our museum and using our services.
If you notice any inappropriate treatment at our library, do not hesitate to contact an employee of Vantaa City Museum. We will try to help to the best of our ability. You can also submit feedback on the Oma Vantaa online service.

A suitcase of memories
Centres for the elderly and service homes can order a suitcase exhibition with a guide from the museum. The miniature exhibition contains objects and images people can look at while talking about past decades and sharing memories.
A museum tour guide or an art and culture companion of the City of Vantaa is responsible for transporting and presenting the suitcase exhibition. The service is free of charge, duration: approx. 1 hour. For further information and reservations, please contact the museum lecturer (contact information at the bottom of the page).
