The City Museum's collections are gaining new and appropriate storage facilities. Due to the move, collection services are closed.

Arrival
By train: The closest station is Hiekkaharju. The distance from the Hiekkaharju primary school is 1 km. There is an HSL city bike station both at the station and close to the Hiekkaharju primary school.
By bus: Bus 619 from Tikkurila will take you next to the Hiekkaharju primary school, while buses 631 and 641 will take you to Koivukyläntie at a distance of 500 metres.
By car: The school has a parking area where you can leave your car with a parking permit for visitors. Ask for a parking permit at the collection facilities.

The route to the main entrance
- The 2 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is less than 3.6 m.
- The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
- The route to the entrance is guided, smooth and sufficiently wide.
- There is a steep slope on the passage.
The main entrance
- The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
- The entrance has a ramp under 6 m long.
- The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door requires the use of a buzzer and is heavy.

- The customer service point is on the entrance floor.
- The doors in the customer service point stand out clearly.
