Marriage ceremony premises

The museum acts as the marriage ceremony premises of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency in Vantaa. Marriage ceremonies are performed every other Friday. Instructions on marriage and how to book an appointment for a marriage ceremony can be found on the website of the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. The Odotussali (Waiting Room) of the museum is usually used for marriage ceremonies; at other times, it acts as a workshop and recreation room. The ceremony takes a few minutes, and the room can be closed off from other visitors to the exhibition for the duration.

The Waiting Room is located on the first floor of the Vantaa City Museum. The window has a view over the Tikkurila Veterans’ Park.
